Mandate

The mandate of the MLS is underlined in the objectives stipulated in section 64 of the LELPA. These are to ensure highest professional standards, to engage in law-related public interest interventions, to ensure credible legal service delivery, to promote research for the development of the law, and to regulate the legal practice.
