MLS Functional Review Paper

The 2021-2023 Executive Committee was the first Committee to start implementing the 2021-2030 Strategic Plan of the MLS. The Executive Committee’s theme was Reform and Delivery as per the Vision Strategy of the Strategic Plan. In 2022, the MLS conducted a functional review and embarked on staff restructuring and recruitment, capacity development for staff as well as developing of staff appraisal system. The MLS published the final report of the review of the core functions, roles and/or duties of the MLS for purposes of reform at the MLS’s Secretariat.
