MLS Questions and Answers on Judicial Reform Work after the Passing of Judicial Reform Bills, 2024 at The National Assembly on 20th December 2024
On 20th December 2024, the National Assembly passed the Constitution (Amendment) Bill, 2024, the Courts (Amendment), 2024 and the Judicial Service Administration Bill, 2024. The Bills are waiting for assent by the State President to become law. The Malawi Law Society (MLS) has been at the centre of the efforts to improve the administration of justice in Malawi and has been actively involved in contributing to shaping and subsequent enactment of these Bills.
